HR Generalist, Talent & Engagement

Meridian is seeking a dynamic HR Generalist, Talent & Engagement to help drive an exceptional employee experience through innovative recruitment, seamless onboarding, and impactful engagement initiatives. In this role, you'll collaborate across the organization to foster a diverse, inclusive, and vibrant workplace culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.

This position offers flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity near our Washington, DC or Frisco, CO offices, or fully remote. Quarterly travel to Meridian workplaces is required to support key responsibilities, including team events, onboarding, and engagement activities.

About the Role:

The HR Generalist, Talent & Engagement plays a key role in ensuring Meridian continues to be a place where people thrive. In this position, you’ll lead our recruitment efforts to attract top talent, help design thoughtful onboarding experiences, and implement employee engagement initiatives that strengthen our internal community. You’ll also serve as a trusted resource for staff and managers, supporting employee relations, performance management, and professional development across the organization.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR, talent management, or employee engagement
  • Proven skills in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI)
  • Experience with HR systems (HRIS/ATS) and Microsoft Office 365 (Teams/SharePoint)

The starting pay range for this position is $67,429 - $80,915 per year. This is a salary, exempt position. In following our commitment to principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, maintaining pay equity when hiring is extremely important to us. For this reason, all staff at Meridian are paid a minimum of $50,000 per year and compensation offers are non-negotiable.
